The Opening & Sound of Worship 2027
Sunday, 5 September 2027. Ecclesia City officially begins its weekly Sunday services with a mega opening, and the day carries Sound of Worship 2027 within it. This is the beginning of something that will do much in the city of Abuja, and we want you in it.
Why this matters
A house for God. A light for Abuja.
For years Ecclesia City has been a movement in the streets, in worship convergences and online every Sunday. Now the movement gets a weekly home. From 5 September 2027 there will be a place in Abuja where every Sunday the Word is taught with clarity, the presence of God is honoured, and every person who walks in is known, covered and discipled.
We see cities transformed by the visible reality of God, communities shaped by truth, homes rebuilt by love and generations aligned with heaven’s design. The opening is not an event we attend. It is a foundation we lay together.

What happens on 5 September
The Mega Opening
The official opening of Ecclesia City’s Sunday services: thanksgiving, dedication, the Word and a charge to the city.
Sound of Worship 2027
The fourth sound. The worship convergence that began in 2024 rises again on the very day the doors open.
Sundays Begin
From that Sunday on, Ecclesia City gathers weekly for worship, teaching, prayer and the forming of a people.

The road to the opening
Every great house is built in seasons.
Here is how we prepare. Wherever we are on the road when you find us, there is a place for you to step in.
The call goes out
Team formation is open. Singers, intercessors, ushers, media, production, follow-up and professionals are being gathered and placed.
Weeks of intercession
Before any stage is built, the altar is built. Prayer watches cover the city, the venue, the team and every soul that will walk in.
Training and rehearsals
Worship rehearsals, protocol and hospitality training, media planning, technical runs and follow-up systems ready for every first-timer.
The invitation
Street Gospel teams carry the invitation into the streets, estates and markets of Abuja. The whole city hears that the doors are opening.
